Does the world need another YouTube?

Maybe not another site that does exactly what YouTube does (and it serves agreat function, don’t get me wrong), but given its presence and that of other of notable video-hosting sites such as viddler, vimeo, blip.tv, Yahoo! video, AOL video, etc., etc., would you use a different site if it appeared? What functions would you be interested in? To amateur (as in, independent, just-starting-out) filmmakers: would you be more apt to upload your work to a site that was less “vloggy“, less viral, and more (I have to choose my words carefully) artistic? Kind of like the short films channel on Spike, but a whole user-generated site? Leave me a comment, I’m very interested in what you think.
