Music collaboration…

Had a great meeting yesterday with music producer Peter Catalano of Killingsworth Recording Company regarding some collaboration on the creation/web marketing of music videos/band trailers. Pete’s a great guy, and if you or someone you now is in a band looking for a great producer & studio, hit him up! Pete’s myspace: http://myspace.com/petekillingsworth

networking: the sequel

So yesterday I did actually meet some very interesting and creative people, one being the meetup coordinator Brian Shaler (yes, “THE” Brian Shaler!), who arranged to have us Twitter contacts get together for some beverages at Common Ground in the East Village. There I also met three great people associated with the Culinary Podcast Network: Chef Mark, Jen and Don from Vancouver. If you love cooking (or just eating), check out their site!

Well, exciting things are happening, bit by bit. Lukfire has just designed a sweet looking logo for us, and it will be up on our new website (which she is also designing as we speak) soon. Another key moment this week was having Buns and Chou Chou(internet celebrities!) comment on my short film on YouTube. If you’re not familiar with these witty bunnies, check ‘em out on YouTube, Salon or at http://rabbitbites.com. I also hope to be meeting this weekend with some people via a young guy from Phoenix who is an enthusiastic advocate of web networking. Networking, friends, in this age of web 2.0 (yes, I used that phrase, so what) is KEY.
